Meet Maegan Drake
I grew up in Trenton and have been a Trenton resident for 42 years. My husband, Brandon, and I have two children attending both Anderson and Arthurs Middle School. I have a vested interest in the success and progress of Trenton Public Schools. I am a graduate of Trenton Public Schools and have gone on to earn a degree in Child Development from Central Michigan, another degree for Secondary Education from Eastern Michigan University, and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Western Governors University. I am also currently pursuing additional certification in Special Education while teaching in Flat Rock. It is a testament to the amazing teachers I had at Trenton Public Schools that I was inspired to persue a teaching career myself. My dedication to education and community involvement has been apparent in my 19 years as an educator, leader, coach and a community partner.
